For the short time that I have known Mr. Connolly, I have known him to be wise man, a man of much strenth, caracter and principle and he wore it all with such humility. It was a great honor to have served him and by extension the family.
I found these words and thought it fit so well.
When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long, and not with your head bowed low; Remember the love that we shared, missed me, but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take,
And each must go alone;
It's all a part of the master's plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart go to the friends we know.
And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds, miss me, but let me go.

I was Patrick’s physical therapist for a long time, and he used to love therapy and always had a smile, and did his exercises with joy, and always saw the joy in life. He will be missed ;-)
