Marie was my mom's hairdresser for many years and she wouldn't have anyone else do her hair but Marie. They became quite friendly and I know my mom looked forward to her weekly hair appointment. She was very fond of Marie & enjoyed their weekly chats. I live in the neighborhood & kept in touch with Marie years after my mom passed. I would stop & visit when I would see her outside taking care of the lawn and the garden she loved. She told me she loved to be outside and do the yard work herself. Although I offered to help she wouldn't have it. She invited me in and we had nice visits a few times over a cup of tea. I spoke with her last close to two months ago & told her I would visit soon. I'm so sorry I didn't get the chance and didn't know until now that she had passed. I will sincerely miss her. She was an amazing woman. My condolences to her family who she loved dearly. Pat Meece

Sweet Marie. Your Sylvan Place Family will miss seeing you gardening out front. We'd often walk past with the dogs and we'd stop to say hello. We always enjoyed chatting with you. You were so very loved. Thank you for being such a great neighbor and we'll cherish the special moments we shared with you. Our love and condolences to your family and friends. Until we meet again...please watch over us. God Bless You.
