Obituary of Dianne Dillon
DILLON, M. Dianne passed into eternal life on November 19, 2017, after a long and valiant battle against cancer. She was born on October 9, 1940 in Barnesville, Ohio, to John Ramm and Marjorie Matthews Ramm, and leaves surviving her loving husband Daniel and his siblings, Jim (Stone), Lorraine (Mike), MaryAnn (Ed), and Rosemary (Marty). She is also survived by her brothers Bruce (Terry), and John (Bunny) Ramm, and sister, Susan (Larry) Field, and by numerous relatives and friends for whom she had a deep and abiding love. These include Theresa (Walter) Frazier and their daughters; Marge (Steve) Botcher and their sons; Joanna (Rook) Brauman and their daughter; George (Karen) Swanwich; and the children of the late Robert and Kathryn Matthews. Dianne obtained a Masters of Social Services from Hunter College, and served as the Director of Social Services and Utilization Review at Good Samaritan Hospital, West Islip, New York for many years. The family will receive friends at Perry's Funeral Home, 118 Union Avenue, Lynbrook, New York on November 24, 2017 from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on November 25 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Raymond of Penyafort R.C. Church, 263 Atlantic Avenue, East Rockaway, New York. Burial at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, New York will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, we request contributions in Dianne's name to All Creatures Veterinary Services at 733 W Park Ave, Long Beach, NY. A special thanks goes to Mary, Clare, Bernie and Popi, wonderful and caring women who cared for Dianne in her last months
