To the family of William Hendrick My sincere condolences to your family. Whenever a classmate or alum passes I feel obligated, whether or not I knew the person to share your grief, if it is possible. William was born in Jackson Heights, just as I was. I went to St. Joan of Arc. Do not know if he did, but it does not matter. We went to the same high school. When I read the Herald, I thought what a great guy. When I found out he was born in Jackson Heights and went to Holy Cross I knew why I felt I knew him. Even though I no longer share the connection I once had with Holy Cross, I still know the meaning of being a Holy Cross Knight. God speed.
