Obituary of Rachelle Fischetto
Rachelle Fischetto passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, May 13, 2017. She was the daughter of Robin Greenfield and the late Ralph Fischetto, Sr. She is survived by her brothers Ralph (Amanda) and Robert (Jackie) and sister Renee Bancroft (Kassim). Rachelle was a feisty, witty, enthusiastic girl who endeared herself to everyone that met her with her passion for life and laughter. She taught people how to accept others like herself with developmental and physical disabilities with her genuine love of life, sense of humor, sarcasm and love of tricking people with her practical jokes. She loved her nieces and nephews, her dog, and her DVD and music collection that included the best of Sesame Street songs to explicit rap.
She most looked forward to her annual summer "vacation" at Camp ANCHOR where she was given the opportunity to interact with her peers. It was at Camp ANCHOR that she could swim and play and enjoy a true camp experience with the amazing counselors and volunteers that make this program such an invaluable success. This is why we ask that in lieu of flowers, the best tribute to Rachelle would be donations to the program. All donations can be sent to Camp ANCHOR, 630 Lido Blvd., Lido Beach, NY 11561, stating "IN MEMORY OF RACHELLE FISCHETTO".
