HOERNING-C, "Artie Smokey", 69 of East Rockaway, NY on February 20, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Christine (nee Guarnieri). Loving father of Christina and Cara Filomio (Chris). Cherished grandfather of Melia and Kai. Dear brother of Susan Englert (James). Also survived by many loving family members and close friends. Longtime proprietor of Artie's South Shore Fish and Grill in Island Park. The family will receive friends Thursday and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Perry Funeral Home, Inc. 118 Union Ave. Lynbrook. Funeral Mass Saturday 10:30 AM at St. Raymond's RC Church in East Rockaway. Cremation Private. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to the charity of your choice.
