In my 26 years at HRA, in GSS, Grace was one of the warmest, most helpful people. She helped me when I was new, and didn't know whom to ask for what. She was resourceful, and if she couldn't solve a problem herself, she worked with me to find a solution. And when I made mistakes, she helped me recover.
Her spirit was the essence of the classic HRA worker - warm, concerned, committed, and on top of her game.
May she rest in peace.

My life was made better because of Grace. There is a hole in the world that will never be filled by another because she was so special. I will miss having morning coffee with her and talking about everything from the silliest to the most serious of subjects. I will miss seeing her telling me "you're making this nice Catholic girl blush!"

Dear Cousin Gracie, We saw each other practically every Sunday of our childhood lives. Then we grew up, our elders met their rewards in heaven, and our lives took on many separate directions. We got together again during several family reunions, and the occasional wedding or funeral. Grace was the best work colleague anyone could ask for! She came in early or stayed late to take care of the many projects we had to complete. With her many years of experience, Grace had the answer for just about anything that came up - or would find it! Grace was the behind-the-scenes for so many HRA events and never looked for thanks, she just took care of it. Most importantly, Grace was a true friend and that is more important than work experiences.
Grace was there for anyone - including their pets. I loved to make Grace laugh with my crazy cat stories. We shared many in the last 12 years. She was a sweet, compassionate friend to me and Yankee.
My condolences to family and friends who will miss her gentle, "can do" spirit every day.
