TAUCKUS- Peter J., 77, of Lynbrook, NY on July 24, 2016. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Mahoney). Loving father of Jean Cortese (Jamie), Peter (Sandra) and Michael (Suzanne). Dear brother of Arlene Poje and brother in law of Eileen Mahoney and John Mahoney. Cherished grandfather of Connor, Matthew, Kyle, Emma, Kate, Caileigh, Claire, Grace, Charles and Anne. Retired police officer with NYPD. The family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Perry Funeral Home, Inc. 118 Union Avenue Lynbrook. Funeral Mass Friday 10:45 at St. Raymond's RC Church in East Rockaway. Interment in St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village.
