Dear Nanny,
I wish I could've seen you more, but I'm thankful I got to meet you. You brought so much love and joy to our family, you never stopped smiling. I'm glad you made your meatball recipe because I get to eat them on the Sunday's I'm with my dad. I will always be thinking of you on pasta nights. You were such a great grandma and mom, those memories will never be forgotten. I'm glad you were a part of my life, I would've never had some of the memories I have without you being in my life. I will never forget you and I will always love you. I know you're in my heart and your having a great time in heaven. I thought you were gonna live to 100, but the shape you were in for 95 was pretty good, you looked great. Just make sure your not making to many meatballs for God- Brian C
Rest in peace nanny and always remember to Celebratelife.

Dear Nanny,
I would like you to know that I am so proud that you were my grandmother.
You were able to place such a positive influence on our family, but especially for my mom, and for that, I am truly grateful. Behind the best mom in the world, was a very special lady who raised her.
As I continue on with my journey, I will always remember the kindness, patience and stability that you brought to our family.....and let's not forget about the Italian cuisine!
My hope is that you left us with a full heart.
We all love you Nanny and you will always be with us.

A mom is someone you laugh with, dream with and love with all your heart. Looking back...I will always love you for making me a happy child and a grateful adult. I will always love you for being my best friend, who understood me, listened to me and who cared. I will always love you for teaching me strength and courage to the very end. I will always love you for the memories of your smiles, kindness and sunshine you brought to everyone's life. As I go along life's way, we'll be together in thought and definitely in heart as we always were. Rest in peace, mom. Love Ann.

Nanny, I am grateful I got to say good-bye, because I know many others never get to have that chance. I truly believe you were holding on because you knew mom and dad and everyone were coming to see you one last time. You lived a long and healthy life and I know you left complete because I have the most loving parents. I'm sure it's a very gratifying feeling. What else really matters? No objects or "stuff" can replace that. I wish you well as you embark on your journey and I love you very much. I'll never forget your last words to me. Atleast I can always fall back on the memories of you in my life, whether it's when i'm alone or just reminiscing with my family. And you were the greatest grandmother any grandson could ever ask for. It will feel strange not being able to ring your apartment button just to see you whenever I visit NY in the future. It will be something I will just have to get used to...
P.s.- thanks for giving me your meatball recipe, your secret is safe with me. >:)
Love,
Scott
