Keating, John K.; 56, of East Rockaway, NY on May 12, 2010. Beloved husband of Kathy. Loving father of Kristen and Leigh Ann. Dear brother of Mark, Maryann Maresco (Joe) and the late Al. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. John served as Superintendent of Public Works for the Village of East Rockaway. Ex-Captain and 32 year member of East Rockaway Fire Dept. Vigilant Engine Co. #1. Member Lynbrook Elks NY Lodge #1. The family will receive friends Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Perry Funeral Home, Inc. 118 Union Ave. Lynbrook, NY. Firematic services Friday 8 PM. Funeral private. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to either East Rockaway Fire Dept. Inc. or Lynbrook Elks NY Lodge #1.
