Oneta-Michael D. 80 of East Rockaway, NY on June 13, 2012. Beloved husband of Elli for 58 Years. Loving father of Loretta (Louis), and Michael (Kerry). Cherished grandfather of Samantha and Anthony. Proud Army Korean War Veteran. 42 year member of East Rockaway Fire Dept., Vigilant Engine Co. Retired Longshoreman of Local 814, Brooklyn, NY. Family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM with Firematic services Saturday 8 PM at the Perry Funeral Home Inc. 118 Union Ave., Lynbrook, NY. Funeral Mass Monday 9:45 AM at St. Raymond's R.C. Church, East Rockaway, NY. Interment to follow at Greenfield Cemetery, Hempstead, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Nassau County Firefighters Burn Center Foundation or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
