Dear Connie and the Hannan Family, I learned of Bill's passing from a family member in Long Beach who gave me the obituary, and unfortunately I could not find your address by doing a check through google. We just want to tell you what a wonderful human being Bill was, and the fact we were neighbors made it such a neat way to know that if we needed anything you were right next door. I'll never forget the time I looked at a picture in the kitchen and asked if Billy had painted it and Bill looked at me "like I was out of my mind" and said: "No, I made that"> Opps, even though through some laughter and me trying to right a wrong, he forgave my mistake and it still makes me smile just thinking of it and him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family, and we do considered it a pleasure to have met such a truly beautiful man inside as well as out. Love, Sharon & Chuck

To Mrs. Hannan and Family, I worked in the office at NATB from 1980-1989. The whole office would light up when Bill came in from the field. He would always bring Dunkin Donuts to the office staff and a smile. Bill was always such a gentleman; kind, generous, funny and hard working. I think all the women in the office had a crush on him ! Not to worry, he always spoke highly and lovingly of his wife and family. Bill was truly an EXCEPTIONAL man and will be missed by many. Sending love and light to his family and friends. I feel privileged to have known someone of his caliber.

Barbara and I were deeply sadden by the notification of Bill's passing. Bill was a member of the National Auto Theft Bureau (NATB) when I first met him and I always referred to him as Senior Special Agent. The title was fitting because he was special. His appearance, manner, suave attitude and demeanor was just like James Bond. Over the years we became friends and would socialize and you would learn more and more about this great person and how he loved his wife and family. He will be missed but never forgotten. Until we meet again. Barbara and Bobby Southard

I was so sad to hear that he had passed away. He was such a great man and role model,so kind and caring. I will miss him so very much. Every time I saw him he always had a smile on his face, never was there a time when he couldn't make you laugh. He was the best person to be around. I will remember the memories we had and will cherish them forever. I love you so much Pop-pop and you will be in my prayers.
