Diaks-Marc of Lynbrook, NY passed away on his 85th birthday January 29, 2015. Beloved husband of Patricia (Babs). Loving father of Teresa Laurita (Bryan), Mary Jo Moriarty (Steve), Patrick (Ellen), Liz Schertz, Marc (Robyn), Doreen Brolly (Tommy), John (Nicole), and Kathleen Perez (Keith). Cherished Pop Pop of 26 grandchildren. Devoted great grandfather of 3. Proud Army veteran of the Korean War. Member of VFW post 3350. Family will receive friends Saturday 7 PM - 9 PM and Sunday 1 PM - 5 PM at the Perry Funeral Home Inc. 118 Union Ave., Lynbrook, NY. Funeral Mass Monday 9:45 AM at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Lynbrook, NY. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Star Of The Sea Cemetery, Lawrence, NY. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Marc's name be made to the Diabetes Foundation at Diabetes.org or to Cystic Fibrosis at cff.org.
