My deepest condolences to Marks family and all who he loved and who loved him. My first memory of Mark was his first day at Fayette, as the new kid in class he made friends immediately because of his humour and confidence. Those two qualities made him stand out in a crowd as we grew up, shining in his own light of kindness. A gentle soul with so many other enduring qualities. He touched many hearts and he will never be forgotten. May these trees planted represent the roots he has laid down to continue his life legacy.

My condolences to Mark's family and friends.
I've known Mark for 20+ years. I just can't believe he's gone. The number of laughs we've had together are countless. From being neighbors on 39th Street where he would pop over me and my brother's apartment daily (like Kramer in Seinfeld) to being roommates in Falcon Tower to running our Fantasy Baseball and Football Leagues together. Mark was passionate and quirky. He was full of love. I'll miss our daily texts about sports, family and life.

When Mark came from Brooklyn and moved in a house around the corner from me in N. Merrick, it wasn't long until we became great friends. One summer in particular, we played basketball almost every single day. My father would take Mark with us to Islander games, and I felt like he was a member of my family.
