I was deeply saddened when I heard that Rich had passed. I knew Rich as a colleague from many years ago at Western BOCES. I remember him well as a dedicated professional and a man who, in his own special manner, made things better for me as a colleague and for the students for who he provided guidance. I worked in the Special Ed division and many of my students attended Wilson Tech. Anytime I or a student of mine encountered difficulties Rich was the man who we sought to make things better --- and in his caring, lighted- hearted manner he always did. It was my honor to work with such a great guy. Rest in peace my friend.
