Kathleen Swigert was born on May 24, 1967 to Millard and Maureen Swigert. She lived most of her life in Rosedale N.Y., and moved to Valley Stream later in life. She had three sisters, Maureen S. O’Neil (D), Josephine S. Benton (D), Elizabeth Swigert, and two brothers, William Swigert and Gregory Swigert.
Kathleen worked for many years at United Cerebral Palsy. After retiring she spent time with her family enjoying her hobbies, traveling, going to the movies, dancing and dining out.
A ray of sunshine, Kathleen lit up the room wherever she went. With her big blue eyes and infectious smile she was beloved by all who knew her. She was the heartbeat of her family and will be remembered always for gentle ways and loving spirit.
