Obituary of Edward W. Creekmore

Edward Walter Creekmore, known to his loved ones as Eddie, passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 70 in Oceanside, New York. He was born on July 23, 1953, in Brooklyn, New York. He is preceded in death by his wife Salvatrice (Sally) Creekmore, and his Father Hubert Creekmore. Eddie was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Eddie had a vibrant personality and a great sense of humor. He had a knack for making everyone around him laugh, and his caring nature touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Eddie is survived by his daughters, Mary Messler and Kathleen Lewis, along with their husbands, Charles and Timothy, respectively. He was also a proud grandfather to Kenneth Messler, Caitlyn Messler, Isabella Lewis, and his soon-to-be-born granddaughter, Madelyn Lewis. Eddie is also survived by his mother, Rachel Creekmore, his sister, Lucille Castronova & Husband John and his brother, Vincent Creekmore & wife Allison (Sunny). He will be fondly remembered by his nephews, Daniel and Cameron, and his nieces, Christina, Jennifer, and Melissa. Eddie had a successful career as a Laboratory Technician, working at Franklin General and Northwell Health. His dedication and expertise were highly valued by his colleagues and the community he served.
