My Tante Frida, a beacon of light no matter what the situation was.
One of my favorite memories is when we all surprised my Mom and Dad for their 25 anniversary at Villa Roma, the look if surprise on my Moms face and the hug exchanged between my Mom and Tante Frida shows the love they shared. I have so many memories and thank you for each and every one of them.
Thank you for being you ❤️ you will be missed, Lynbrook will never be the same.

I have so many memories of your Mom. She used to fill the room with her laughter, and love. She was always the life of the party. I used to tease her about her accent all the time and would imitate the way she said my name and Claudia's. It sounded like she was saying "Gloria"! We would laugh about it every time.
The day before my wedding, I didn't have a pair of shoes. I noticed Charlie, my best man, had a nice pair on at the rehearsal dinner. He told me his mother picked them up for him. I called my Aunt Frida in desperation and asked her if she could pick up a pair for me as well. She agreed and said she would bring them the day of the wedding. Nervously waiting, she arrived with the shoes, however when I tried them on they were too big! I had no choice so I stuffed newspaper in the toes and wore them anyway. I thought of may Aunt everytime I looked at those shoes!
I have such fond memories of sleep overs and the rowdy bedtime ritual wrestling matches and your Mom telling us to keep it down! Poor Johnny, Charlie and I always ganged up on you.
My family and I will never forget all the good times, the birthday parties, the backyard barbeques and memories we made together with your Mom and Dad.
May she be at peace in the loving arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ. And for everyone who believes, I look forward to that day when we will all be reunited together in Heaven forever.

I have known Tante Frida since I was a little girl. I remember going to the house in Lynbrook and sitting at the dining room table with the family and her husband Joe. I also will cherish the warm hugs and her upbeat attitude on life. Tante Frida was a real ball of fire! She also always said what a wonderful husband (Anis) was, and how lucky I was to be together with him. Rest in peace Tante Frida and send my love to Tante Lina and Joe. You will never be forgotten. I had the privilege of knowing Frida when I was working on John's case. She welcomed me like a daughter and more importantly she was an inspiration for her courage in standing up against a powerful system determined to basically kill her son. She was a force for justice and an incredible ally in our fight for three innocent men. I am so sorry for the Restivo family's loss. Really sorry.
