Obituary of Evelyn Fern Drake

Evelyn Fern Drake of East Hampton, NY passed away peacefully at home on March 19, 2023 at the age of 100. Fern, as she was known by, was born in Toronto, Canada on August 7, 1922 and lived most of her adult life in the United States.
She is predeceased by her parents Adam and Edith Drake, her brother R. Russell Drake and her sisters Doris Gagliano and Doreen Dey. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families, cousins, neighbors and her caregivers.
Fern was deeply spiritual with a gentle nature and sharp wit. She loved music, opera and practicing her singing and playing her piano. She adored all animals with a special place in her heart for cats.
Fern will be dearly missed by family and all who knew and loved her.

Private burial service to be held at Greenfield Cemetery in Uniondale, NY on March 24, 2023 at 2:15pm.
