Will forever miss Kitty, my second mother who always did for us without ever once asking for anything for herself. She was always there and doing things for others and we can only hope we are the half the person Kitty was. I will love and miss Kitty for the rest of my life and I will always hear her voice (I know no one will). We should know she will be watching over all us from above.

My fondest memories of Aunt Kitty was Thanksgiving at our/grandma's house, she was always in the kitchen helping to cook and ALWAYS in the kitchen cleaning once dinner was done. She would bounce from the kitchen putting the chicken neck and giblets in the pot to the living room to teach little Paddy the in's and out's of gambling on football to back to the kitchen to put the chicken neck and giblets back in the pot because my mother would take them out hahaha. We always knew when Aunt Kitty made the Gravy too because it was delicious. (As much as I love Grandma she was a terrible cook lol) I remember being at the kids table and she would be the one that always came and checked on us... "did you eat enough?" "Use your napkin!" She was always there taking care of us (the kids) or cleaning hahaha. Those were the best Thanksgiving's ❤️

Q: How did you meet Theresa?
A: I met Theresa(Kitty) when my family moved to rockaway on August, 15,1965 i was 9 years old. Growing up she was friends with my Sister Carole and my brother Glen. She was always nice to me. I always thought how beautiful she was. I haven’t seen Kitty in Years bit i did think about her. I was very saddened when i heard of her passing. My condolences to Paddy and their Kids. R.I.P Kitty.

I know Kitty for 60 yrs. We were childhood friends in Arverne. We hung out together until I moved in 1969 to Massapequa Park. We stayed in touch until she married Paddy & I came to see their daughter Donna. I lost contact over the years until we had our friend reunion in 2015. At this point I live in Florida. But when I saw her again for the first time in over 50yrs, She was still the same caring & sweet person that I remembered. As kids Kitty was always kind & good to me. We never fought & always got along. To me she was a dear old childhood friend. Rest in peace Kitty. You lived a wonderful & fulfilled life. I'll never forget your kindness.

Kitty and I go back almost 64 years .
She was my first friend .
I was 6 and she was 8.
It seems like yesterday we were playing with our Barbie dolls .
Kitty taught me how to stay strong when times got tough .
Together we shared many hopes and dreams .

Kitty has been a second mom to me for almost 20 years. I want to thank her for all the help she gave me caring for my children. Anything I needed, she was there. I will miss our beach days and PA days. Those were some really great times and hold many memories. My children and I still laugh over trying to get Grandma Kitty to take over the wheel and drive my car while we were in PA. We will continue to smile and think about all the great times. Kitty I am glad you are at peace and I’m thankful for all of our time together. ❤️

A: When I think of Aunt Kitty I remember thinking how cool it was having such a young Aunt. When staying at Aunt Joan’s visiting Aunt Kitty and Uncle Paddy were still dating. We are so sorry about the loss of Aunt Kitty. We know how incredibly close you all are as a family, and we will be thinking of you and praying for you during this difficult time.
I thought a lot about memories of Aunt Kitty, and when I think of her I think of laughter. Anytime I was in a room with Aunt Kitty she was always happy and laughing, which is such a wonderful way to be remembered. Friday night I looked up at the sky and there was a big Cheshire Moon, like a huge happy smile. This reminded me that our loved ones are always watching over us and smiling from above… which I know Aunt Kitty will be doing.

I remember spending my childhood summers in Pennsylvania with my grandmother, who lived on the same street as my great aunt Kitty. Whenever I was looking for something fun to do, I would take a short walk over to Foy Land, a magical place filled with every Disney character you could think of. But what truly made my visits to Foy Land special, was my great aunt Kitty's warm welcome and loving energy. She would greet me with open arms and provide me with little art projects that we would work on together. I remember her infectious laughter, and the way she made me feel loved and cared for. One summer, I decided to surprise Aunt Kitty with a special project of my own. I spent hours creating a beautiful drawing with all the colors of the rainbow. When I presented my masterpiece to Aunt Kitty, she immediately hung it on the wall of the living room. I felt so proud that I had made Aunt Kitty happy. We worked on many art projects together, creating beautiful memories that would last a lifetime. As the years go by, I continue to think fondly of Aunt Kitty and the wonderful times we had spent together. Though she may be gone now, she will always live on in my memory as a kind, loving, and welcoming person. The memories we shared will continue to bring a smile to my face for life.

My fondest memory of Kitty Foy dates back to the days when her now teenage grandson's were in elementary school. A long friendship developed between myself and her daughter Donna as we had a lot in common.
The Foy's are a close knit family. I remember Kitty and Paddy as loving, doting parents/grandparents. I would see them at every school function or at home spending time with their grandchildren. Dear Foy Family,
My heart breaks for all of you. Mama Foy welcomed me into her house and instantly treated me as one of her own. I guess she thought it would be good for Paddy to have a bodyguard as he was growing up. Well it worked out well, some 30 years later and you guys still can’t get rid of me. The day has come God has called you home. Time for those who knew and loved you to sit alone. Time to process, think and grieve. Time to cry, scream and question what we believe. Kitty was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She was so proud of her Donna and Paddy. We would sit in my living room and she would tell me how well they were both doing in school.
She would stop by and visit me almost every day on her way to work.
