I first met Mark through my brother Vincent in November 2017. We shared a meal together and since that date we shared many pleasant meals together. Mark would pass through Connecticut for business/personal travel, he would stop and visit Vincent at the store in New Haven.

To Mark Taff's family, friends, and associates, my husband Howard and I offer our sincerest condolences. Mark was the consummate professional that became a friend. He had such insight and always had a listening ear. His generosity of spirit will never be forgotten. I offer this poem in his memory:
FRIENDSHIP’S ROAD
Friendship is a chain of gold
Shaped in God’s all-perfect mold;
Each link a smile, a laugh, a tear,
A grip of the hand, a word of cheer;
As steadfast as the ages roll,
Bringing closer soul to soul;
No matter how far, or heavy the load
Sweet is the journey on

Mark, you were such a great friend and an overall good guy. I will always treasure our conversations and the way we could make each other laugh. How many times were we able to solve the problems of the world? We had the solutions, unfortunately those in power never listened to us. We could see things with a certain clarity, and chuckle at the absurdity of events in the news. Thank you for the books you shared. All of them were a great read. You always got a laugh when we spoke about our pet rabbit. She was a source of amusement for you, and we still have the porcelain rabbit figurine you gifted her. The best moments were when the four of us - you, Marie, Sunnie and me were able to get together. Those were enjoyable times. Marie is such a special person, and we were so happy you had her in your life. We will miss you dearly, but feel blessed that you were in our lives. Love, Joe and Sunnie
