I met my best friend Val in 1972 as we both had a love of horses. You could find us at the barn riding our horses Candy and Sunny from daylight to sundown. We also would ride our Honda 70’s to the barn ...I think we wiped out quite a few times lol. To the most beautiful cheerleader, cowgirl and friend I will miss you !!! My condolences to Ryann and Lindsay. Also to her mom Marlene and her brother Richard and those of us who loved her and blessed to know her. Never a kinder gentler soul could there be. Val never spoiled by her upbringing , she was meek . Valerie loved deep and genuine never putting anyone in the middle of life’s stresses. Always forgiving and a turn the other cheek person. Our friendship has spanned 40 years, meeting when she first came to the big city. With her big hair, big earrings big blue eyes and dreams. We had many adventures in and out of work such a random chance of meeting for a lifetime of friendship. We had our first child about the same time and although I had a different career, odd hours it didn’t disrupt our bond. Up until this last hospitalization we spoke every week for 2 or 3 hours, hard to do when they were poking her . Val was both beautiful and selfless. God Bless her now with eternal peace. She deserves it. I hope she is with those she loved that passed before , her dad and her pets, she loved her pets . I miss you Val , I will hold you in my heart forever. It’s like a bad dream. Until we meet again my sister my friend. Rest in Peace and Gods light.

Deepest condolences to Ryann & Lindsay. Your Mom was a special part of the Rouleau family while we were all growing up in Lake Charnwood in Troy, Michigan.
She was a ‘cast member’ for all of the backyard plays we would perform during the summer months with Stacie & Shellie Malloy. Wonderful memories of our carefree days. Val and my sister Anne became very close friends throughout high school and beyond. Her kind & beautiful spirit will truly be missed. God rest you Val.

First my deepest condolences to Val’s daughters, and the rest of the family. I met Val around 1975….. her family lived a few houses down from the Rouleau’s. I originally met Ric first then Val…… and I was mesmerized from the time I first met her I did and still do had the biggest crush on her…. Val taught me to play Heart and Soul on the piano…..I’ll never ever forget her…..thanks for the great memories…. I love you!! May you rest in peace and be forever be blessed!!!
