Ted & I both worked at Hewlett H.S. and Emily was part of our 16-20 member Lunch Bunch that celebrated each other's birthdays, brought in catered lunches before each school vacation and enjoyed several evening outings each school year either at various restaurants or pot luck dinner parties at our homes. Emily was so happy for Ted and me -- that we met and married. She became a second mother to me and called me every week during Covid to make sure we were staying healthy and isolating. She was so happy we drove upState to celebrate her 90th birthday with her wonderful and gracious family. She was happy and content and felt blessed to have such a long life. I'm sure she's organizing dance parties in Heaven and serving delicious dinners. Rest now my dear friend. You will be remembered, loved and missed.
