Angie, Maria, Rocky and family. I'm sorry for your loss of Cousin John (CJ). I have so many memories growing up of him. I will miss the funny snarl he would make with his teeth and stare when he would shake my hand but only to squeeze my hand softly and make onlookers think you were crushing it. He had that giant presence to him that no one can forget. All the times my dad would go to your house on a Saturday to have drinks on your deck, and I would ask to come. Angie would set me up if I was bored in the downstairs tv room with stuff to do. Daphne would bark at me. CJ many times would show me the basement and the drawings he was creating. He inspired me to learn how to draw myself. 'It's in OUR BLOOD' he would say. I still have the Super Dean Picture he created of me hanging on my wall down south in North Carolina. A great artist, a great cousin, a great family member. I will miss his smile and i hope you can all heal knowing that he is safe in God's arms for eternal life.

Saturday’s growing up always included Cousin John, CJ, dropping by in one of his meticulously cared for Mercedes, stopping all work my dad and I were doing. The bottle of Johnny Walker Black would come out and I would sit and be entertained as CJ and dad would talk and laugh for hours. I cherished those Saturdays and tell my children about how important they were and still are to me. CJ could tell a story like no other and even as a teenager I could listen to his stories all day. His quick one liners including Ray, you know Ray?, and who is it? He was not just my dads cousin, he was his best friend. Thanks for the memories CJ.
