Obituary of ADELE CASELLA

Adele Casella, beloved mother of Desolyn Posoli and Charlette Weisner, and sister to a devoted brother, Carl Giacomotti, entered heaven on April 24, 2020 after 99 years of a beautiful life.

She was a loving grandmother to Rebecca Posoli-Cilli and Elizabeth Posoli- Futch as well as delighted in four great grandchildren ,Vinson, Ella, Cate and Meredith.

She was wife to Charles Casella  (died 1978), and daughter to Joseph and Desoline Giacomotti.

Born in New York City, NY, she went to catholic schools and completed a year of college.

She was a career lady who worked for Bergdorf Goodman for 38 years, while being a lifelong (current) member of and Regent of the Catholic Daughters (St Joseph’s and St Mary’s), was part of the Helen Keller Foundation, and American Cancer Association of Long Island .

She said, “I’ve run the gamut of life-vanquished the downs- and had overwhelming blessings that anyone could have---and was blessed enough to have the most awesome family. The gratitude in my heart will forever be theirs—and I hope for all the blessings on all of them- with intercession and the aid of the Heavenly Father  and His Angels and Saints.
