John was a great neighbor! There are so many funny memories and one that stands out is from the Blackout in the northeast in August 2003 when John went into Boy Scout mode. We had melting Daiquiri and Pina Colada mix from the freezer and an electric blender and John had an adaptor to power the blender from the cigarette lighter in his van. A short time later a there was a pop up party on the front lawn next to the van! Frozen drinks were being served most with an add on from the liquor cabinet. John also picked up the last few pizza's from Ancona just as they were locking the doors for the night. Whenever that story came up John would have a big smile on his face and we would all laugh. My heart is broken; you have all been in my prayers for some time now, and I will continue to pray for you.
John is my friend and I will miss him so very much.
John loved you so much, his family meant everything to him.
I will forever miss his stories about what he was crafting for one of you, or the many cat stories he would share with me, and mostly I will miss his encouragement when I needed uplifting. What a kind soul!! A Great Man!! I was blessed to call him 'friend'.
John's heart was full of love for you, his gals meant everything to him!
I cherished the years we worked together, and I'm grateful for the friendship we continued since then.

What A WONDERFUL MAN!!! Looking back at many fun memories, my favorite is probably his persistence in having my daughter Nicole Robinson be his goalie on the soccer team. Nicole never wanted that position until the day John yelled out COLEY the GOALIE and she felt special and obligated to John so he would stop screaming her name........... Til this day her He always made the soccer field and special place for all our children. May your Husband and Father rest in BEAUTIFUL PEACE.
