Carmela DiCosimo was born Carmela Eoga on January 26,1938, to Concetta and Dominick Eoga, and is one of six children. Carmela worked hard to provide for her family because family was the most important thing to her. Her love and patriotism for this United States of America was unmatched. She worked hard in school and at her many jobs so she could offer a better life to her family and live the American dream. Carmela is survived by three siblings: Immacolate, Anthony and Domenica. She will be reunited with her mother, her father and two older sisters, Marie and Isabella. Carmela leaves behind her two loving sons: Paul and Dominick and their families: Maria, Nicole, Christina, Deanna; Deborah, Anthony, Peter and Dominick; and her great-grandchildren, Giuliana, Thomas and Paulie. She will be remembered for her zest for travel, love of lasagna & chocolate, and how hard she worked to enjoy her family. Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, September 24, at 10:45 am at St. Raymond’s of Penyafort in East Rockaway, NY.
