Mary Wyndham passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the age of 87.
Mary was born in Lettermore, County Galway, Ireland to Michael and Mary Wyndham. She immigrated to the Bronx, New York and diligently worked for the telephone company for almost 40 years. After retiring, she moved to East Rockaway and enjoyed many years cheering on her nieces and nephews at countless sporting events, and especially loved attending soccer games. She was a devout Catholic and dedicated member of St. Raymond’s parish.
Mary was preceded in death by her brothers Michael and Martin and her sister Bridie. She is survived by her brothers Paddy, Coilin and Joe and her sisters Kathleen and Anne.
A wake to celebrate her life will be held at Perry Funeral Home on Tuesday 5/25 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm and funeral services will be on Wednesday 5/26 at St. Raymond’s Church at 9:45 am.
