Henry Eugene Speicher III passed away January 14, 2020. He was born February 2, 1961 in Oceanside NY to Henry Jr. and Dorothy Speicher. He is survived by his son Christopher (Aylin), son Timothy (Angela), daughter Jennifer, and grandson Noah. He is also survived by his father Henry Jr. and siblings Arthur (Donna), Thomas (Christine), and Daniel (Jessica) , as well as many nieces and nephews.
Henry devoted his life to his family and career, he was a loving father, grandfather, and uncle. He completed a long and honorable career in the New York City Police Department in 2003, during which he reached the rank of Lieutenant and selflessly served as a first responder on September 11th at ground zero. His caring nature was highlighted daily for all to see and left a lasting mark on everyone he encountered.
Despite lasting effects from the events of September 11th, Henry remained a caring and loving individual who spent his time helping others and watching over his family. He would want everyone to remember the positive that he brought into the world and all the love he spread. He will be greatly missed by all.
