Michael Richard Sangirardi, 57, of Lynbrook, NY passed away on July 24, 2019.
Beloved husband of Maria. Devoted father of Robert. Cherished brother of Lisa and
Lawrence. Fond uncle of Marissa, Angela, Anthony, Nicole and Michael.
Family will receive friends Sunday, July 28, 2 – 4 PM and 7 – 9 PM at the Perry Funeral
Home Inc. 118 Union Ave., Lynbrook, NY. Funeral Mass will be Monday, July 29, at
9:45 AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, Lynbrook, NY. Interment to follow at Holy Rood
Cemetery, Old Westbury, NY.
Michael was born in Brooklyn, New York to Lucia and Michael Sangirardi on July 30,
1961. He went to high school at Valley Stream South High School and graduated in
1979. He went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from New
York Institute of Technology in 1987. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Cosentini
Associates for the past 6 years and was well respected by his colleagues. His hobbies
included being a Corvette aficionado, body building, skiing, reading, and travelling with
his family. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
