Guiseppe "Joseph" Rubino 88 of Lynbrook, NY Died at Hospice on December 3. 2014. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in the Canarsie Section of Brooklyn. He has been living in Lynbrook, NY for the past 39 years. Joe was a world war II veteran , Volunteering to serve in the US Navy at age 17. During his Military Service, Joe was on his ship during the Bombing of Pearl Harbor, and as part of the Navy UDT unit he landed with the Marines in Iwo Jima. Joe is survived by Antoinette "Ann", his wife for 63 years; his children; Joe Rubino and his wife Elisa, Jimmy Rubino and his wife Geraldine, Anthony Rubino and his wife Linda, and Perry Rubino; his grandchildren; Dayna Rubino, Brittney Rubino, and KellyAnn Rubino, and his sister Sadie Pritchard. He was predeceased by his brothers Sal, Sam, Jack, and his sisters Mary, Dorothy and Rosie.
