Carr- Helen M. 92 of Amityville, NY formerly of East Rockaway, NY on November 26, 2014. Beloved wife of the late William. Devoted mother of Ellen Hickey (Paul), Virginia Bogdan (Alexander), Joan Giannone (William), and Elizabeth Mueller (Kenneth). Cherished grandmother of Paul Hickey (Bonnie), William Hickey, Alexander Bogdan (Jean), James Bogdan (Stacey), Kathleen Carpenter (Matthew), Patricia Trongone (Eric), Maureen Giannone, Timothy Mueller and William Giannone. Adored great grandmother of Emma Bogdan, Alex Bogdan, Anne Bogdan, Katie Bogdan, Christopher Carpenter and Stella Bogdan. Retired teacher from St. Joseph's, Garden City, NY. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Perry Funeral Home Inc. 118 Union Ave., Lynbrook, NY. Funeral Mass Monday 9:45 AM at St. Raymond's RC Church, East Rockaway, NY. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. In Lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to St. Raymond's Social Ministry 263 Atlantic Ave., East Rockaway, NY 11518
