Obituary of Gerard B. Connolly

Gerard B. Connolly (Jerry), born February 3, 1943 (age 71), of Jupiter, Florida died on November 1, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital, West Palm Beach, Florida after a battle with leukemia. Gerard was a retired investigator for the Federal Government (EPA) and a retired sergeant with the New York City Police Department. He also served a distinguished 33 year career in the U.S. Army and U.S. Coast Guard Reserve. He recently became a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Eileen, and his two daughters, Aileen Sanders (Mark) of Highlands Ranch, CO and Claire Tutwiler (Patrick) of Andover, MA as well as his 5 grandchildren Madeleine Grace Tutwiler, Kathryn Elizabeth Sanders, William Francis Tutwiler, Colleen Marie Sanders and Charles Winn Tutwiler, his sisters Sister M. Francine Connolly, IHM (PA), and Dolores Carlo (NY). He is predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Murphy (NY), his father, Francis Connolly (NY), brothers Edward and Francis Connolly (NY), and his sisters Gloria Smith (NJ) and Marguerite Gillis (NY).
