We are so sorry to hear of Tom's passing, he was a wonderful colleague and friend over the years. Tom was always willing to jump in and help in any way he could; I remember getting sick at school once and he came to pick me up and bring me home on his way to a call in Brooklyn. When I started to work for IBM it felt like I was working with my extended family and surely Tom was one of those family members. Your family is in our thoughts and in our prayers. I am very sorry to hear that my long time friend from IBM has passed on. I offer my prayers for his family. I will remember him and all our adventures at IBM over the 45 years that I have known him. I took my first call at IBM with him after basic school. He has always been a caring man and a good man. He and I spent many years working all over Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Bronx and Long Island. He has helped so many of us to learn the correct ways to do things. Tom was the voice of the "welcome wagon", as he liked to call it, of LITRIO. He welcomed me six years ago into the LITRIO family and it is with great sadness to see him say farewell. he was always available to listen to our concerns and made sure he had an educated answer to help us solve our problem. Tom was fond of the Long Island chapter of Transplant Recipients International Organization. Tom was so generous with his time and made it his mission to connect with and listen to people who sought advice and opinions about their health challenges with respect to renal transplantation. Tom spoke with many people on the telephone for hours and when he didn't know the answers to questions, he asked more questions and followed up with the original person who asked him the questions. Tom Bush will be sorely missed. To all of Tom's family: Please accept my sincere condolences and I'm very sorry for your loss. Tom will be missed by many.
